IPBartenders throw open their cocktail bar for tasting and experimentation. Brands, bartenders and the mixologically curious welcome, IPBartenders will be on hand for advice and guidance.

Peter Ekelund and Bjare Karlsson the men responsible for Sweden's most iconic vodka brand, Absolut, and it's latest super premium offering - Karlssons Gold talks about what it takes to produce, launch and love legendary vodka's from Sweden.

Carl Stephenson and Sam Kershaw present spiced rum cocktails and an in depth look at what it takes to develop a new rum in a busy market

Whisky expert Angela D'Orazio talks in detail about the art and science behind the different wood finishes applied to Malt whiskies. Dispelling some gimmicks and myths along the way.

A exploration of the synergie between culinary styled spirits and top end food service. Flavour matching and using spirits as part of the culinary experience.

The scientists from TFC's California hi-tech facility explain the cutting edge processes being applied to alcohol production. Expect spinning cones, vacuum distillation and hydrostatic pressure galore. With cocktails provided by Wahlstrom Californian Vodka.

 

Creating History

Scotland's own Dr Adam Elmegirab, re-creator of Boker's Bitters talks about the trials and tribulations of creating an historically accurate product from scratch, and serves some long lost classic cocktails, that can only now be made once again
